The Hall

As the population of the Sharon region, including the city of Herzliya, has continued to increase, there has been a growing need in the area for a facility for cultural and entertainment activities.

The Hall for the Performing Arts at the Israel Air Force Center was thus estalished in 2003 as part of the partnership between the Herzliya municipality and the IAF Center to provide a state-of-the-art facility for the population of the entire region.

Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, the Hall includes a 760-seat theater, rehearsal rooms, green rooms, and storage areas. It is also houses the IAF Ensemble Unit. Together with the Ministry of Education, the city of Herzliya holds artists’ workshops at the Hall for children ages 12-18 to enable them to develop acting and singing talent. In addition, the city is now forming an official Herzliya Theater.

Since its inauguration in 2003, the Hall serves over 300,000 visitors a year. From theater shows to musicals, concerts and children’s shows and all IAF large gatherings, it has now become one of the most visited performing arts theaters in the country.
